My Journey in the world of Tattooing: From paper drawings to works of art on skin

Since I was a child, drawing was my greatest passion. I spent hours creating worlds on paper, sketching everything I saw or imagined. What started as a simple hobby soon became a calling that would shape the course of my life.

During my teenage years, I discovered that my talent could go beyond paper and become living art. I started drawing on my classmates’ skin, fulfilling their requests and experimenting with creative designs. It was during this time that a teacher suggested I pursue a career in graphic design. However, my heart was leading me in another direction: I decided to enroll in an art school to refine my skills as a draftsman and eventually dedicate myself entirely to the world of tattooing.

The first steps in this industry were not easy. In my home country, tattoos were still stigmatized and associated with crime or rebellion. Additionally, the necessary materials were difficult to obtain since they were not locally produced and had to be imported. But these challenges did not weaken my determination. With ingenuity and passion, I built my own handmade tattoo machine and used Chinese ink for my first designs, which, by the way, I practiced on my own skin.

Every obstacle motivated me to keep going. Over time, I met people who shared the same passion, and they guided me and taught me the secrets of the trade. I learned with effort and dedication, always striving to reach the level of tattoo artists in the United States whom I deeply admired.

Today, with more than a decade of experience in the art of tattooing, I have the privilege of working at a tattoo studio in Gainesville, Florida. I live off my passion and enjoy every design I ink on my clients’ skin, transforming their ideas into unique and meaningful pieces.

My commitment is not only to artistic quality but also to responsibility and professionalism. I work with the highest standards of hygiene and safety because the well-being of those who trust me is just as important as the artwork they will carry forever.

Tattooing is more than just ink on skin; it is an expression of identity, a story, an unforgettable memory. And for me, every line, every shadow, every color is a way of bringing those stories to life.

If you are thinking about getting a tattoo, I would be happy to help turn your idea into a piece of art that you will carry with you forever.
